Engagement- Sarah & Wes

Fun, Fun, Fun ! 

Everyone that has spent a little time with me in their life knows I'm a little eccentric and prefer the crazy side.  Sarah & Wes are a hilarious couple!  It is one of those client/photographer relationships that just click :)  Their personalities shined in their engagement session.  We got to run around Duke Gardens, which in itself is amazing !  Especially in the Spring !  Their wedding is not until later this year, but I am SO looking forward to it! They will be married at the Grand Marquise Ballroom- quite the swanky venue and I drool over the endless photo opportunities we will have.  LOVE THEM! 

Engagement- Sara & Paul

Isn't it just beautiful to see such a cute couple in love !  All it took to get me excited was finding out that Paul had brought a 3 piece suit to wear . So maybe it wasn't his choice, but his fiancé knew what was best *as we always do* and he pulled it off perfectly! Both Sara & Paul are police officers although Paul has recently ventured out into entrepreneurship.   I'm so happy Sara found me and asked me to be her photographer! I can't wait for their Ceremony and their bonus Persian Ceremony :)

  This was one of the first outdoor sessions of the year for me using my portable lights.  They give me so much more flexibility and the opportunity to send the session much into the sunset.

Happy New Year !

It's pretty incredible what a short break does for your motivation and inspiration.  I had an effortless session last night with a beautiful soon to be Momma :)  Her and her husband were so sweet and we had a lot of great laughs!  The setting was perfect and we were able to utilize a lot of barns and fields on her families property.  I'm a little over 37 weeks now myself and 2 cm dilated :)  She's right behind me at 33 weeks, so I'm guessing two pregnant ladies doing the pregnant wobble around the farm was a sight for sure <3  Hope to get outside today and finish walking my little man out this weekend- high hopes, I know ;)  I'm almost done with my 2013 prices and packages, so please be patient.   Ecstatic for a new year of families, babies and happy couples ! I love my job !  I really do :)

Baby safety :)

I have not updated the blog in quite some time.  It's Holiday Season and I am keeping photos a surprise for the families :)  It's not always easy for me to not want to show them off.. especially this little guy!  I have 1 more full week before I take time off to prepare for my little man's arrival but will be updating the blog, website and all my marketing material in preparation for a fabulous 2013.  I hope to take my photography to a new level next year and continue to keep growing in my talent and pleasing my clients with photos they will cherish.  

Here is a fun photo I took last week of a 8 day old baby boy! His mommy loves to ride horses and we saved this for his last shot.  We took 3 snaps and he was ready to be done, but it was all we needed.  I feel it's important to see the before and after so you are not worried.  I'm not about to make you bring me your week old baby and prop him 4 feet in the air and expect  him to balance himself on a saddle.  That's why you pay me for countless hours of editing :) Photoshop is always our best friend !!
